Subscriptions and plans
Do I need my own Claude or OpenAI subscription? Yes. Macswarm supplies the Macs. Anthropic or OpenAI bills the model usage to your account. We never resell tokens.
Which Claude plans work? Self-hosted environments require a Claude Team or Enterprise organization (public beta). Pro and Max users can start a Pod on the Free or Pro plan and sign in to Claude Code inside it with their own account.
Does Codex need anything special? An OpenAI account with API access. Codex requests a Macswarm Pod through the Agents API webhook; see the Codex quickstart.
Pods and agents
How many agents can I run? As many as you like per Pod. We guarantee 2 to 3 active agents per standard Pod with Simulators; beyond that, builds queue. Limits and queues has the numbers.
Is my code isolated? Every session runs in a fresh Pod cloned from a golden image. Pods are never reused across customers and are destroyed after the session. More in Security.
Where are the Macs? Dedicated Apple silicon Mac minis in a data center in the Netherlands (EU) or in the US. You choose the region per environment.
Can I SSH into a Pod? No. Agents run inside; you watch them through Claude, Codex, or the logs and screenshots in the dashboard.
What happens to uncommitted work? Sessions are asked to commit and push before they end. Macswarm also pushes a rescue branch with any leftover changes before the Pod is destroyed.
Does Claude Desktop’s local Simulator pane replace this? Claude Code Desktop can drive an iOS Simulator on your own Mac, and the Latest Xcode lets agents do the same locally. Macswarm is for cloud sessions, teams without Macs, and several agents working in parallel.
Licensing and billing
Is this allowed under Apple’s license? Macswarm provides continuous integration and developer services on Apple hardware we own and operate, the same model used by established macOS CI providers. Enterprise customers can get dedicated Macs on monthly terms.
How is usage billed? Per second while a Pod is running. Idle Pods stop ten minutes after the last session ends. Plans and rates are on the pricing page.
How do I cancel? From the dashboard, at any time. The plan runs to the end of the paid month. Refund terms are in Refunds.
