What a Pod-hour buys
A Pod is one hosted Mac for one developer. Several agents share it in separate git worktrees, with a build queue for two concurrent xcodebuild runs and a Simulator pool of three to four devices. One Pod-hour runs two to three active agents end to end: build, launch in a Simulator, tap through the app, read logs, take screenshots, open the PR.
Usage is metered per second while the Pod runs. Ten minutes after the last session ends the Pod is destroyed, so nobody pays for a Mac that waits.
Compared with macOS CI minutes
A GitHub-hosted macOS runner runs one job at a time and bills by the minute. Per-minute rates multiplied by 60, checked on 24 October 2026:
| What you get | Per hour | Runs at once |
|---|---|---|
| GitHub macOS runner, 3 or 4 cores | $3.72 | 1 job |
| GitHub macOS runner, 12 cores | $4.62 | 1 job |
| GitHub macOS XL runner, 5-core M2 Pro | $6.12 | 1 job |
| Macswarm Pod on Pro, included hours | $0.33 | 2 to 3 agents with Simulators |
| Macswarm Pod, extra hour on Pro | $0.40 | 2 to 3 agents with Simulators |

Questions about billing
What is a Pod-hour?
One Pod running for one hour. A Pod is a hosted Mac for one developer; two to three agents run inside it at the same time with Xcode and Simulators. Usage is metered per second, so a 12-minute session costs 0.2 Pod-hours.
Do I pay per agent?
No. You pay for the Pod, however many agents you run inside it. We guarantee two to three active agents per standard Pod; beyond that, builds queue.
What happens when I use more than the included hours?
Pro adds extra Pod-hours at $0.40, Team at $0.30. You can cap monthly spend in the dashboard; Pods then wait for the next month or an approval.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, from the dashboard. Plans are monthly and run to the end of the paid period.
Do I need my own Claude or OpenAI plan?
Yes. Macswarm supplies the Macs. Anthropic or OpenAI bills model usage to your account. We never resell tokens.
Is there a larger Pod?
A large Pod for five to seven agents is planned at twice the hourly rate. Tell us if you need it sooner.
How do I pay?
By card through Paddle, our merchant of record. Enterprise plans are invoiced.
Give your agents a Mac.
3 Pod-hours free, no card. Connect Claude Code or Codex and the first Pod boots from the warm pool.
